A guy a couple of rows back from me used exactly that as an excuse to not give it back. He’s not a regular and was involved in some heated exchanges at half time along the lines of “I know they can play better, so why aren’t they?”. Pretty sure he was also guilty of “Stop f**king around and get it forward!” in the first half. A bit of a psycho all round. Hopefully he won’t be back, the t**t.
