By contrast, I often used to go to the one on the Brompton Road
and it was just excellent. Getting a table there for family Sunday brunch was a great treat which I remember with fondness.
But that was back in the day, when it only had half a dozen shops and before it got taken over by the idiots who thought they could franchise it and open PVs at places like (shudder) Baldock services. Hey ho.
(Though I don't think it's gone bust because of the quality of the croissants - it seems to have had most to do with a pretty hefty fraud. We shall see.)
