Fine margins

Had the lights not gone out against Derby we probably win and pick up 8 from 12, and end the New Year top of the league and on a huge unbeaten run. Or even if Rhodes shot had gone in, it would have been 6 from 12 and still unbeaten. We would probably all feel different.

For me though, the big “what if” was what if we had a ref that had stopped Blackburn kicking the s**t out of us and had had both Mo and Emi available for the whole holiday period? Easy to forget that we had to play almost every one of the holiday games without two of our best and most influential midfielders.
