To give the team their due for yesterday...

we did have some good chances early on - Vrancic, Pukki’s non-penalty and we looked lively even though clearly not at our best. Then the injury to Stiepermann really broke our flow, such as it was; he’s playing the Bradley Johnson role of a few years ago but without the goals, sadly. He seems to be at the heart of what we do when playing well. Then Tettey goes off when they’d got up some momentum and that didn’t help. Krul made two good saves (good ones, not miracles) but in the last 25 minutes Vrancic hit the post with the free kick, Srbeny could / should have scored or at least hit the target and we were well on top. I don’t think we were lucky to get a point.
