£15m is pretty ridic

Harsh reality is that if we go up, I dont think he is yet good enough to be a season long PL player for us.

Sure he could turn out to be a gem, but I cant see him shining particularly brightly in a defence that will probably be getting battered most weeks.

Risk of that is that it will kill his value.

My concern would be whether he would have the same application with a loan-back as if he was still our player wanting a PL move. So I would probably hold til summer. But £15m isnt to be sniffed at lightly though.
