I wear a helmet to commute and when I’m in my gear for a ride, if I’m off into the city for a haircut or a shop (probably walk but anyway) I probably won’t.

Echo the other comments too. Actually it’s pretty hard to get cycle specific clothing which doesn’t have something reflective on it these days, even if it’s just the branding.
