As it reads.
Military spending was doubled in 2003 to 855bil. In 2018 it's 874bil. That's 19bil increase in 15 years.
In the UK we were 30bil in 2003. In 2018 were 47bil.
In terms of trump's spending in military it's practically the same as it was in 2003.
I mean if you base it off GDP as most people do. US is 3.1% and UK is 2.4%
So to say he's increasing military spending massively is not true compared to the bush era.
In comparison Obama brought in Medicare which is currently at £413bil. Which is probably why republicans are desperate to get rid off it.
