Where do we need to strengthen in Jan?

For me it looks like we need fb cover (If we do shed Pinto I'd want him replaced) although lb cover seems more of a pressing need.

I'm happy with Godfrey as cover for cb.

With McLean, Marshall, Hanley all due back (I'm not holding my breath on jarvis or Thompson, unfortunately poor chap) we've got some depth and challenge for places too.

What makes the FB position trickier is that you'd usually get a younger guy with potential to challenge the incumbent, but that's who we've got (and damn fine they're doing too).

Trybull and Godfrey offer a bit of tettey backup...

Really pleased with Pukki, Rhodes and think srbny is decent backup, but maybe some raw pace upfront (in a cinnamon Jackson, huckerby sense) would give us options. How quick is idah?

It'd be good to be doing the January transfer window in search of extra options /squad depth rather than triage. Fingers crossed.
