It’s hardly surprising. It’s not a straightforward situation.

- Thai national so it will take a bit of time to contact family
- There could be cultural differences from Thailand to UK with regards to announcing a high profile death.
- We know he was intensely private so there will no doubt be considerations related to that.
- He’s a billionaire businessman with a lot of different financial interests. Information released can have a huge affect on his companies/stock market and his family.
- His companies are likely trying to get their ducks in a row to ensure there’s minimal disruption whilst respecting the situation before any announcement can be made. LCFC included.

Without meaning to sound harsh, he’s not exactly the average person so there’s probably many complicated aspects to deal with.
