you've to top up the water? why has nobody has told me of this

there's a dial? i didn't realise that there even was a dial. i get it serviced once a year and it just goes about its boiling business with absolutely zero input from me. i'm just going to leave it like that i think. i've got british gas boiler care in case it does an exploder so i'm not faffed by boiler troubles. pfft.
