Sometimes it is tone though...as people complained about tbf tone

So some of the 'jokes' at GOBB and Jim do feel a bit to sneery and spiteful at times.

Last year GOBB made the comment about Gunn and his arse and there was some good humoured banter about it afterwards that didn't feel particularly malicious but after the comeback on Sat. the comments felt more spiteful.

Pack/herd mentality doesn't need leaders it just needs a first response that validates other posters views, and people pile in, on a different viewpoint/opinion This is obvisiously in no way suggesting that abhorrent opinions should be allowed to go unchallenged (that fact I have to write this clarification says a lot about society and this board as a microcosm of it).
