There definitely is a bit, althoiuh its not really any different to what

is seen in wider society as a whole. Its not really accepted that people just have different opinions on certain things any more they are just "wrong" if they hold a view contrary to the others view and it appears fair game to be insulted, harangued, abused etc. I do think the "left" are are more guilty of that than those on the right.
