Parked up in a supermarket not far from the ground, walked out under the helicopter and the groups of genuinely hard-looking lads hiding from it under advertising hoardings. I had colours concealed by my coat. Head down, fast walk, get the f**k out of there.
During the game the coins and the odd cup of piss from above, to the general indifference of the stewards, but you kind of expect that from those knuckle-draggers. Not felt like that at football since the 70s/80s.
