Thanks for this. Nothing to disagree with at all really. On why I use different forums at times: it's nothing to do with "looking for someone who agrees with me" or somesuch. It's everything to do with the forums being designed in different ways.

I don't use the Graun much - but there's much more room on there for pretty detailed discussion than on here, and it's less personal, because most users don't comment on other users, it's not an online community in the same way as here. I post on the PinkUn pretty rarely... but when I do, it's almost always with a 'big picture' sort of post which doesn't belong here (both because of length, and the design of this place).

That's it basically. Different strokes for different folks. Hope all's going well for you Down Under, and thanks again.
