My old man supports (to the extent he supports anyone at all) whoever happens to be playing Norwich at the time.

A lingering shared football memory from early childhood is him chanting 'Sunderland, Sunderland' repeatedly during & after the '92 semi-final defeat. Was it on TV? I remember being very excited before the game, which he managed to ruin.

We've only been to two games together. Cheltenham Away in some cup, where he bought us tickets in the home stand. Think we lost but went through due to a late away goal. Great fun stifling goal celebrations in the home end as a shy kid. Not.

Also a Sheff Utd home game, which at least was in the home end so he had to STFU. Think we wont that one happily.

Dad was also a bit of a dick.
