I think we have to trust the manager here

If he has decided that he need a new number one then that is his call to make. He sees Matthews and McGovern in training every day etc and he will be judged on these calls.

It would be great to have a team filled with our own former youth players, but Farke doesnt have time to allow them to develop.

If we start the season poorly, and Matthews makes mistakes that see us drop points then fans will be calling for Farke's head.

None of us have really seen enough of Matthews to make an accurate call, but we have to trust that Farke has.
