Seeing it got me looking at this here youtube User Posted Link of a Lanc firing up and taking off and it struck me how brave those fellers were, imagine sat up there as a 21 year old lad in charge of your crew flying with tonnes of explosives in a large slow target away over to enemy territory. incredible. The Lancaster flying over our place was thrilling it really was well done to the RAF for keeping them going and the memories of that time alive. "Lest we Forget"
