Blimey, who'd be a teacher?!

Daughter is on a school trip to Barcelona & they had a day out today to a huge theme park. There was a fairly minor first aid incident involving one of the kids, meaning they got away from the park later than expected and as a result snarled up in some really bad traffic.

As a result they got back to the accommodation nearly 2 hours late and the kitchen had closed due to staff having left, but in fairness they left a load of made up rolls, sandwiches, crisps, cold pizza.

Totally reasonable in my view but the absolute melt down of a few of the parents on the school Facebook group set up for the trip - demanding to know exactly what the poor teachers are going to do about it, as if their poor darling child is going to perish from malnutrition before breakfast time.

I genuinely think a couple of the dads posting, who seem to be rutting with each other for the title of being the most boorish and arrogant, expect the teachers to go into the kitchen and knock up a three course meal for all the kids.

It really is a thankless task sometimes.
