Probably only Wolves and Fulham have looked like good sides in the last two seasons. The teams that made the playoffs last year were garbage aside from Fulham although Hudds had their moments.

This seasons playoff contenders are a bit better in terms of quality but Villa and Boro both quite hot and miss.
