Quite simple really, one performs to a level greater than the sum of its parts, the other

performs to a level less than the sum of its parts. Cardiff are doing the former, we are doing the latter.

I would perhaps re-phrase it slightly though in that perhaps others have a better balanced squad than us. We don;t have enough back up strikers or holding midfielders. I still think though we have just as many and probably more quality players than most of the teams above us, we are just a less effective team because of how we are playing. Cardiff are ruthlessly efficient and in many ways the polar opposite of us. They rarely play particularly "well" but are strong, clinical and manage to win games. You could see thoigh even in our away game there where we lost that we had technically better players than them and we p**sed all over them for most of the first half.
