Then they can seemlessly change managers without disrupting the club, as the style of play is ingrained at every level. The manager is brought in with the MO to continue the work, or dare I say it, "philosophy."
Whether the set up is a healthy one in the first place is a different argument altogether, depending on the circumstances in each scenario.
