the 'Worthy watches them in training' argument
to justify the selection of Holt, Flem etc is one of the most annoying things I've heard this season. We don't pay players to train, it isn't an end in itself. The SOLE purpose of training is to get a player ready to perform on matchday. If a player pisses around in traning and is brilliant on matchday then his training is fantastic because it works for him. Conversely, if he works his bollocks off in training and is s**te on matchdays then his training is crap. End of story.
Sorry, rant over. Just had to get that off my chest before the season ends.
