I wouldn't complain at all if they loaned the money
and charged a relatively low rate of interest, with a smallish dividend payable should the club make a massive jump in income.
That is pretty much the definition of being good and responsible owners - not milking the club. So you're projections are inaccurate.
This specific bond is not really the point anyway; it is just a reflection of their wider leadership of the club. The owners unability or unwillingness to provide necessary finance, combined with their unwillingness to sell, is not a great combination in modern day football.
And fleecing the fans with among the highest ticket prices in the division, while at the same time depending on fan investment to keep the academy afloat, suggests that either the owners can't compete financially in the current football industry, or that they are financially incompetent. Either way, it doesn't look too sustainable.
