But anyone with money in the bank collecting small amounts of interest - well yes like anyone is going to be holding most of their wealth there. I'd rather invest in a GILT frankly than an unsecured loan to a champs footy club

Its clear your financial judgement is clouded by your personal feelings towards the board - yes personally I have v negative feelings towards them :-) maybe if you had just sat through your fifth 0-0 draw of the season you might as well - do remind me how many games you actually attend and how many season tickets you have bought in recent years. But the point I was trying to make which clearly eluded you (surprising considering how much more intelligent you are than everyone else on this board) is that aside from emotional views there are also far better financial alternatives
