Yep, it's not a great investment

5% return, with no security, in a hugely volatile industry is pretty poor. Think about how different our fortunes are now to what they were five years ago, or five years before that. It's a risky investment.

If not, then I presume loads of supporters from other clubs would be eyeing it up as an attractive investment. Whereas in reality it's appealing to emotions rather than financial sense.
