For the record

I liked Jarvis when he started with us. I remover him properly rampaging down the wing on his debut - I texted a West Ham mate and asked why they let him go, I was impressed.

It’s not a personal thing, he can’t help being injured or the terms of his contract getting paid for it. I don’t think he’s lazy etc.

But inevitably, he’s going to be crooked. I hope he comes out of it and we get to see him play rampaging down the wing again, but I rather suspect as per the statement below, retirement or a switch to another role is in his future.

As for Louis Thompson, I’d guess because we’ve never really seen what he can do (as we saw all too briefly with Matt Jarvis, and an awareness that LT won’t be on the same wages as MJ) he’s more likely to be under the radar.
