there is only one team currently in the play-offs who is eight points above us. If 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th were all only eight points above us, it would be a different equation, even if we are currently 12th.
But they're not. There is one - possibly two - places up for grabs. We are miles behind and have loads of teams ahead of us. Plus we can't score goals and can't win much at home.
