So you are saying you don;t "respect" anyone who has a different political view?

This seems to be a general trend in politics/life and its quite disturbing really. Them and us. Right and wrong. No proper attempt to understand others positions or have meaningful debate. See also the recent Jacob Rees Mogg episode. He's a bit right wing, he has strong religious views on certain issues that some peopledon;t like and suddenly he's the devil incarnate.

Why can we not disagree on points yet give people respect at the same time and listen and to all views?

I don;t particularly like Trump, I wouldn't vote for him but I can uinderstand why some people would, particularly when the alternative was also an uber c**t.
