Do you mean Phil Neville? I just feel that we are moving to

(or are perhaps already in) a very dangerous world where everyone has a digital footprint and pretty much everyone has at one time or another put something stupid on social media or done something stupid in their lives and now any time anyone gets appointed to a vaguely public role there is a section of society (operating mainly online) who just seem to be out to get them the sack or in some cases destroy them to the extent they become almost unemployable.

I don;t like it. Politics has become personal and viscious and its crossing over into other areas as well. Soon there won;t be anyone left who is willing to do public service roles. Some people obviously bring it on themselves with their conduct which crosses a line but for gods sake we've all told inappropriate jokes or said stupid things or indeed changed our views on things as we've grown up.
