As a self funding (i.e. funded by the fans but not the owners) club we are basically going

to lose our best player or players in every transfer window aren't we? Its going to be a bit demoralising to lose the likes of Godfrey or Lewis after maybe one season playing for us if we are lucky (if they continue to show the same level of improvement).

I know this summer will be exceptionally hard due to the loss of the parachute payments but basically from now on even 50% of the teams in the championship are going to be able to afford to double the wages of any good young players we find/bring through in the future whilst prem clubs will be able to offer them four or five times their salary as a minimum. Its going to be incredibly hard for Farke or any other coach to put together and retain a decent side in these circumstances.

Our owner thinks what is happening at Wolves is "appalling." I see they are now being linked with another mega money move for a striker.
