on the other hand, big transfers from the Champ are rare, and certainly not as inflated as the rest of the market.

If you exclude players signed immediately upon relegation (e.g. Sissoko, Wijnaldum), then the most a championship player has ever been sold for is £15m, which was Assombalonga.

So, even recent history suggests we'd actually be doing very well to get anything approaching £15m for Pritchard, despite it not feeling that way in the current marketplace.
