"both old and easily replaceable from the current squad"
Tettey isn't "easily replaceable from the current squad". One of the biggest problems with the squad is that he's really the only player good at doing what he does best. He reads the game well and is passing on his experince helping to guide Trybull and Muph to get into the right positions. Tettey should have been captain this season. Tettey should be given another year to pass his experince to the young players.
It would cost money to replace him. Mulumbu cost the club a lot of money and was a failure.
Wes won't be easy to replace if Madds or Pritch were to leave. Wes is also helping Madds and Pritch to become better players. Wes should get another year.
