I think its a bit unfair on fans to ask them to commit so early

I don't think many other clubs have renewal deadlines quite so early.

The first deadline was in mid March not so long ago now its early Feb and the second deadline used to be mid April when at least it was reasonably clear what division we are going to be in.

Did we have less need for forward financial planning back 6/7/8 years ago?
