RE "community club"............... ...........
I'm not sure a club can be a "community club" when ticket prices are so extortionate that most local people can't afford to go to matches.
I've never heard of the club owners etc. ever getting involved with the local community.
However the club used to do a huge annual football tournament for local schools which was good thing to do. I don't know whether they still do that.
It is a great shame so few local people get to watch their local team, other than on TV.
