The reason I didn't think it was a pen at the time was that I couldn't see from where I was the extent to which Husband was beyond the defender; I thought they were level and his arm went across but in a shoulder-to-shoulder context.

However, looking at the replay, that wasn't the case; he was past him, or well on the way to being past him when an arm went across his face.

A clear foul anywhere else on the pitch, and possibly a soft pen if given, but a foul, that I'm sure of.
