I think he's genuinely into what he does regardless of money. He doesn't come across as arrogant but moreso that he's trying hard. He seems focused and determined. In some ways he's a bit like Pulis.

Interestingly, MMs coach is Terry Connor who was a coach for Gerry Francis (Francis tells Pulis what to do).
