Investigation has found he made two insensitive comments but not a racist and not bullying. Effectively they appear to be two slightly ill judged jokes.
Would have sent him on a "course."
Despite the hysterical reaction to anything race related I would not expect someone to be sacked for making the same comments in most other jobs.
