I don't agree with that when someone is suffering from a chronic medical condition...

He will know his body better than any doctor/physio and what he's capable of doing on a daily basis.

Colitis is a bit different to a pulled hamstring.

Maybe we didn't have any other options (shows the academy must be in a pretty poor state if we've go nobody capable of filling in short term at centre half)
