sadly it's almost impossible to get a flight or even a bus ticket at this stage

and I was going to be in Ecuador this weekend, but had to cancel so had no backup plan.

So, I'll just enjoy the half-empty city, the onset of spring (26º sun forecast til weds!) and BBQ season.
