Main stresses come from the size of the chain (the smaller the better) and your solicitors. If they're responsive and good at communication then that takes loads of stress away.

It's horrible being left in the dark but sadly conveyancing is often at the bottom of their priorities while it's the single most important thing for you when you're buying a property. Get a good recommendation.
