Some on here (who tend to 'lean' to the left) think being a chairman is to turn up at board meetings and to 'chair' each agenda number as they go through it. They dont seem to think a 'Chair' should drive the company by holding the CEO to account to targets the Chair has set.....

Do they think Lord Bamford just swans around Staffordshire visiting his 8 factories for cups of tea and good news?!

Its a lost cause trying to explain it.
