Bright, sitting midfielder looking to pick passes and manage the tempo. Tettey there to break things up and drive forward.

I'm not against them as a pairing and I don't think two perceived 'sitters' is a bad thing. As discussed below, Vrancic was the problem and Maddison should have started with Wes.

I'm confused by the demotion of Reed though - was he playing badly? I was away for the first few games but he looked great against Charlton.
