it's not judging him on results to date, it's whether he can do anything go change it.

he's been dealt a bit of a duff hand on the defence that we have, and there's ultimately a question that if the players just aren't up to it, will a different manager be able to improve them enough to make further managerial upheaval worth going through? (vs the cost of putting the money that'll eat up into the transfer kitty in January)
