Look at arsenal last week they had their highest ever possession and lost
And for that reason I'll have to disagree with you as arsenal are a much better team than stoke
A good coach will change his tactics to suit the players not try to force a style of football or system onto a set of players
This philosophy talk is bollocks pure and simple the man has come from an environment where performance and getting players to play within his philosophy is more important than actual results. He's now in charge of a team literally the polar opposite of that, in a league where results rule. Put him in charge of the youth team and in a few years we may have some players who can play that way, but now we havnt and I don't believe hes good enough or adaptable/ willing enough to change to grind outresults needed.
