I genuinely don't understand how kids can be raised without a tumbly.

I haven't got house space to hang up all the washing, never mind that I don't actually want all my house filled with wet laundry, and the associated atmospheric moisture related damp consequences. And on those scant days per year in which it is appropriate to hang it up outside, everyone's at work all day, so if it rains, which is likely on most of those few days, no-one's there to bring the washing in.

Get a bloody tumbly.
