I'm afraid I got to the bit about Martin being a round peg in a round hole and gave up. He
(or she) may be right about all the other rarified stuff, but I saw, as I've seen over the seasons, Martin standing off his opponent level with our area, making no effort to block the cross, let alone tackling at any stage of the build-up. He basically stands 5 metres away, gives the guy plenty of time and watches the cross come past him, and that's what he's done forever. He's not the e-goat for this defeat, but since he's the senior player, the de facto leader of the squad and a dedicated pro, you would have expected him to have sorted that out over the years.
