Me and my lad toddled off down riverside today as he wanted to see that the pre-match Barclay End Projekt hoo hah was all about, we joked there'd be about twenty lads there but it was absolutely heaving with city fans. We all marched up riverside to the ground and it was proper loverley.
We all trooped past the entrance to the Main Stand and MWJ was there having a crafty woodbine and he applauded us past, nice one old boy 👍
It's easy to knock the initiative and belittle it but I hope it carries on and grows as it was nice to be a part of it today. The only shame was that as they went round the ground the group got split up as folks went to their seperate areas of the stadium so the momentum was lost. I know it's contentious but the lower Barclay should be where these lads and lasses go. Hopefully they'll get rail seats in the lower Barclay soon and the old farts (like me) will free up the front line for the yoofs.
