I think it's easy to underestimate the value of someone that is very comfortable on the ball and does the simple things very well.

Agreed there was nothing spectacular, but cummatively, (i.e. keeping hold of the ball, wanting it, using it) he had a good game.

Fulham have a very good midfield - in fact, it is there midfield that is their strength.
