Need to buy a car advice.

Tight second hand budget. Looking at family cars.

I had a 1.6TDCi focus, did alright for a while but not as long as I hoped and is now dead. Spoke with the garage about problems with that particular engine.

Was wondering if anyone had any experience of 1.6 CRDi Hyundai engines (as per the i30). I do nearly 20k miles a year and I'm wondering whether I just need something a little more powerful so it's not getting as strained by the workload.
