I wasn't happy about selling Howson to Boro but could at least see the logic in selling him given our midfield options. I cannot see the logic in selling your first choice striker to a promotion rival (although Reading are actually sh*t and shouldn't be a rival).

Hopefully it's all nonsense but another result of making it public you are up for selling players is this type of speculation which in itself is not helpful.
